Students will be given real-life headlines and asked to consider multiple perspectives on that headline. Perspectives chosen by the students may be individuals living or dead, institutions, other living beings such as animals, or even inanimate objects. Headlines are from real-life incidences involving Lebanese in North Carolina. With partners, students will brainstorm many different perspectives, then choose one or two to act out. In partners, they will perform a dialogue that will indicate their perspective without directly stating it.
